Chat GPT- does it only hold info on one device?

Hey world changers! Silly question- I really liked when Igor mentioned having conversations with chatgpt on his way to and from places...thought it may be easier to get it to know me. Does it matter if I use my phone or laptop r should I keep it all on one device? I'm not sure if it only recognizes me when I am on a certain device - is there an "account" aspect?
