So, jumping off from the discussion last night, I thought maybe you could help me analyze and break down backward rolls with the 3 point model of strength, flexibility, and components/progressions. I seriously never thought doing a backward roll would be a struggle, but it is. When I try to roll backwards as an adult, it hurts my neck. Are my back or neck just not flexible enough? Should I be putting more weight in my hands/arms? Maybe my wrists need to be more flexible? What are the components required for backward rolls, ultimately? Do you need me to make an embarassing video to answer these questions?
