[START HERE] Welcome To The ADHD Performance Lab 🤗 🚩
You aren't here to "fix" your brain. You're here to turn it into your SUPERPOWER! 🦸 🦸‍♀️ Book your free 15 min Custom Roadmap Call If you happen to have made it here for the ADHD Dopamine Breakfast Protocol then you can find it here. My name is Joe Keohan and I'm 56 and late-diagnosed with ADHD at 53. I struggled all my life with ADHD without realizing it. From forgetting just about everything, to lack of focus and follow through to struggling with depression and alcohol/drug addiction. But once I finally figured out how to manage and thrive with my ADHD, I learned to lean into it as my superpower. In all honesty the day I stopped seeing ADHD as a Deficit and Disorder and started living as someone who is Action Driven and Highly Determined, everything changed. As a certified Jay Shetty Certified Life Coach and someone who specializes in ADHD Performance Coaching, I created this community to share everything I've learned and to help others turn their ADHD into their SUPERPOWER as well. Most ADHD support out there stops at "how to survive the day" or "here's a new system that will make you more organized and productive." But none of that worked for me. It was only when I started caring for my mind and body through diet, nutrition, supplements, exercise, meditation that I now had the focus and energy to do what needed to get done. This is a safe space for ADHDers done forcing focus and ready to turn their wiring into their edge, just like I did. Action over perfection. 💪 Consistency over willpower. 🔁 Self-compassion over self-criticism. ❤️ If you want it would be awesome if you introduced yourself 🤗

Lesson 18 - Move Before You Need Motivation
Lesson starts at 3:00 PM EST Join here: https://www.skool.com/live/STlwC7fjYrK In this lesson I talk about: - Your phone should be the last option, not the first - The Dopamine Vending Machine: it's not weakness, it's engineered convenience - Life Is A Supermarket: why you're only shopping in one aisle - The Four Lifestyle Sources: Move, Connect, Create, Recover - Connection Is Not A Heart To Heart: body doubling counts, presence is enough - The Reframe: motivation isn't the input, it's the output
Body Doubling: The ADHD Brain's Secret Focus Weapon
🔥 Body Doubling works. That's why were running 2 dedicated sessions every week Tue/Thur 11am EST. 🚀 So come join in on the focus, get shit done, and leverage your ADHD superpower. Links to the Body Doubling sessions can be found in the Skool Calendar. 🎯 Every time I do a body doubling session, I hit a level of focus I don't get very often. I'm able to make progress in areas I might have ignored and the group reflections after keep me locked in even more. 🧠 Why this works for ADHD brains: body doubling isn't just working near someone, it's borrowed structure. It kills the two biggest blockers we face, starting the task and staying in it, without needing willpower to force either one. You're not fighting your brain, you're working with it. 💪 ✨ ADHD isn't a deficit, it just requires we find what works and incorporate it into our daily/weekly routines.
