How to write better VSL scripts

One thing I am quickly noticing with sending videos in the Instagram DMs is that you NEED to do something to stand out if you want to get good responses. No one wants to hear a generic "salesy" style script that sounds like your reading from a teleprompter. I made what I thought was a good VSL, then I watched it back a few times and realized it sounded like doggy doo doo. I started over from scratch, but this time I went to chat GPT and asked it "what do online businesses look for in a copywriter", it then gave me a whole list of very good things that businesses look for in a copywriter, some of them I didn't even think about or realize before. I then wrote my VSL script based on some of the list chat GPT gave me. And it is 10X better than the first one I did. I haven't started sending it in the DM's yet but I think it is going to work MUCH better. Also, I highly recommend you go watch "How To Craft A Godfather Offer" from Sabri Suby on YouTube, it helped me improve my script dramatically. Take time on your VSL's and really consider what the prospect wants and build value around your offer. If it's a pre-recorded one that you're going to be sending over and over again, make it a little personal so it doesn't sound like you're reading from a script. Also smile and make yourself presentable! speak clear and concise, act like you KNOW what you're talking about and TELL them you can get them X result by doing Y.

If you want uncommon results, you have to be willing to do uncommon things.
