My first 7 months in business was incredibly painful.
Guess how much I made?
$0.
And a large portion of the reason why was because I was a low-performer.
Couldn’t focus.
Couldn’t execute.
Worked 12–14 hours a day…
and still felt behind.
Then I rebuilt my internal system around 3 pillars — and now business feels EFFORTLESS to me.
I get to wake up each day and work on the things I WANT to.
And I get to live the life I WANT TO.
Here’s how to perform so well it feels UNFAIR to other people (coming straight from one of the highest performers in the industry)
STEP 1: Fix your sleep
One of the most overlooked reasons for why people struggle in business is because they're CONSTANTLY sleep-deprived and overworked.
You can’t execute with precision if you wake up fogged and drained.
Here’s the real fix:
- Cut caffeine 8 hours before bed (do it intermettiently)
- Shut down all work 60 mins before sleep
- Use mouth tape, white noise, and a pitch-black room
- Sleep + wake at the same time 7 days/week (try to stay 80 - 90% consistent with this)
- Track your sleep with SleepCycle
- Plan your next day before sleeping
You want quality sleep that turns you into a MACHINE.
Step 2: MINDSET
Energy without direction is wasted.
Here’s how I prime my brain every single morning for an INSANE day:
- Gratitude
- Arrogance
- Humility
When you say something over and over, it EVENTUALLY becomes true
Why say negative and demeaning things of yourself which will make your life HORRIBLE,
when you could say arrogant and uplifting things which will make your life AMAZING
Plus you've got that student mindset so you're constantly learning and improving
That combo puts the world in my hands.
STEP 3: Efficiency
Here’s what actually works for me (try this yourself)
- Planning my day the night before
- Starting my deep work within 10 minutes of waking
- Hoodie on. White noise. 1 task.
- No multi-tasking.
- Not doing more than 4 - 6 hours a day of work max
- No dopamine spikes until after your work
This is how I now scale my business faster than ever — while working less than 6 hours/day.
Hope this helps!!
