Online gurus don't tell you what I'm about to tell you In this post, completely raw and UNFILTERED harsh truths about copywriting
Truth one:
It's Hard to get clients....
There's no "copy paste formula" that's gonna get you clients if you want clients you need consistency
You need to wake up and be able to do the same thing (outreach) every single day regardless of how you feel.
Even then, it's not guaranteed you will land a client for even months, sometimes
Truth two:
Clients are assholes.
No guru ever tells you, clients are genuine assholes all the time because you work for them
They expect everything to go smoothly and sometimes they don't regard the fact that you are a human and you can make mistakes
But again, not all clients are like this.
Truth 3:
There's no "secret outreach method"
It's all a bunch of Copywriting lol to get you to click
kj Rainey (idk how to say his name) outreach method works best,
Don't fall for some scammy course that teaches you copy paste scripts
The only outreach method that works is getting good at copywriting and learning the basic fundamentals of outreach.
Then it's a numbers game.
Truth 4:
Make money online writing emails from your phone
(Now, Tyson always says it's hard to start CopyWriting from your phone and it's true)
It's not just writing emails, often times you have to learn sales page copy, sales page design, email service providers, A/B testing
Truth 5:
It's actually hard to write emails
Writing emails are similar to writing songs,
You constantly have to innovative and you have to fight writers block.
BUT
That's not a reason to be discouraged about, now that you know what to expect,
And your willing to accept these truths and you stay consistent
THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH YOU WON'T GET A CLIENT
So go out there,
And give it your EVERYTHING
