Did I doge a bullet? What do you think?
Background:
I did a free project with him before in exchange for a testimonial.
He asks me to create a website for him and wants me to do it entirely for free.
I tell him I can't take that risk upfront then he literally starts begging me.
I knew he was a shitty client from the first time I worked with him.
And his entire business seemed shady so I didn't even ask for a commission deal.
What do you guys think?
Considering how hard it is to get clients as a beginner, did I make the right decision to say no?
