I read 'Take Their Money' by Kyle Milligan,
and I saw him discuss the WIFM (What's In It For Me) in the headline section.
He says that your headline needs to be useful for the reader,
which means telling the reader what they will gain by reading this copy,
and they need to know that just by reading your headline.
Plus, I noticed that in most short emails, there is no WIFM.
So my question is: Is WIFM usually for long-form copy?
If I make the headline useful for the reader, can I eliminate WIFM element in the copy (especially in short-form emails)?
