REBRAND & Fresh Air
Something has been shifting behind the scenes over here… 👀 And before I just quietly change everything overnight, I wanted to tell you where we’re headed first. When I originally created MOCKUP, it was rooted in community building. But over time, I realized something important… I’m not actually passionate about “community strategy” in the way the online space usually talks about it. I’m not interested in teaching people how to post 17 times a day, manipulate engagement metrics, or build loud hype machines that burn everyone out. What I care about is something deeper than that. I care about helping good people build spaces that actually feel safe, human, welcoming, clear, connected, and alive. Spaces where people don’t feel like leads. They feel like they belong. And honestly… the more I worked with entrepreneurs behind the scenes, the more I realized most people are exhausted. Exhausted from trying to sound like marketers. Exhausted from copying bro marketing strategies that don’t even feel like them. Exhausted from trying to build businesses that technically “work” while quietly draining the life out of them. So this community is evolving. Not into a “community about communities.” ⚫️ Into a space for heart-led entrepreneurs, creators, teachers, guides, builders, and visionaries who want to grow something meaningful without losing themselves in the process. Here’s the direction we’re moving toward: ✨ Purpose Build spaces where people genuinely belong. ✨ Mission Help heart-led entrepreneurs create communities, ecosystems, and businesses that feel human, sustainable, welcoming, and aligned with who they really are. ✨ Vision To help 100 entrepreneurs build communities filled with raving fans… not because of hype tactics, but because their people feel seen, safe, connected, and excited to stay. You’ll probably start noticing changes around here slowly over the next few weeks. New language. New structure. New energy. More depth. More honesty. More humanity.
I PROMISE... I'm not calling it an audit anymore!
I'm gonna admit something... I HATE asking for help. And after 20 years of teaching, being the one who knows and being the "I got it girl" most of my life makes it even more difficult. So I was calling this service for support I am offering an "audit". If you're like me, that feels like the IRS are pounding down your door or Roz from Monsters Inc is about to make her zoom appearance. So what it really is... I walk into community spaces and take a look around. I use these spidey senses to recognize patterns, see the energy and the notice things. I notice when I lean in. I notice areas where I feel safe and some where I start to lean right back out. It's not intentional. Honestly, I just don't know if we think about this when it's our baby. We're so focused on building a beautiful space and creating courses where our members will grow from our wisdom on a topic. We're excited to serve. We build these spaces with good intentions. We create welcome posts, Start Here sections, community guidelines… all because we genuinely want people to feel supported and know how to participate. But sometimes when it’s our own space, we can’t feel what a new person feels walking in for the first time. It's a kind look but the word audit feels like someone's about to walk through your space and rip it to shreds. NEVER!! NEVER my goal! Never going to be the way I show up. But I really am doing an energy audit. What posts make it easy to join in the conversation? What posts make me wonder if I fit in this space? Are these my people? Those are real questions your members are asking. But they'll probably never say that out loud because we're human and safety is our nervous system's top priority!! But I also know this reflection is really important to adjust your community so members can see them self inside the conversations. I've already talked to Chat, Claude and Plexi about this. I would rather talk to the humans who would receive this feedback. What would you call this? What would resonate in a "she gets me" way?
I PROMISE... I'm not calling it an audit anymore!
