The Candle in the Dark
A single candle doesnโ€™t seem powerful. Its flame is small, fragile, and easily overlooked. But when placed in a dark room, that tiny light changes everything. It doesnโ€™t eliminate the darkness completely, yet it makes the space livable, hopeful, and less intimidating. Thatโ€™s how progress works. You donโ€™t need to make giant leaps every day, sometimes itโ€™s the small actions, the little sparks of effort, that bring the most meaningful change. One step forward, one kind word, one disciplined choice can light up your path. Over time, those small flames combine into a fire that transforms your world. So never underestimate the power of small beginnings. Even the smallest light can push back the darkest night.
The Candle in the Dark
Watching Kids be Kids.
Watched my kids help each other learn how to ride a bike. Was so cute watching my son show my daughter how to pedal on the bikes while he pushed her and moved her legs with his hands. So cute!
Simplicity for the win
Simple one today. After a busy weekend of work, went for a family walk with the dogs. Just 20minutes of peace and getting outdoors to enjoy some sun.
Gratitude for life
My dadโ€™s best friend passed away in January, tomorrow is the funeral. I am here with my parents in a beautiful spot just outside of Hamburg. It was a beautiful day, less about work, more about celebrating life and the moments together. I cried this morning when I was moved, not sure why. Just thinking about all the wonders of life. Tomorrow is the actual day where tears will be shed.
