Stop Walking on Eggshells Around Your Teen Son! Do These 3 Things Instead.
Walking on eggshells around your teenage son isn't keeping the peace — it's teaching him his mood runs the house. If dinners have gone silent and the bedroom door stays closed, you're not failing him. You're carrying this alone and tired. This video breaks down what a teenage boy is actually testing every time he withdraws, why the eggshell house spirals him deeper, and three small things you can stop doing tonight. Let me know how you're getting on!

This is a great video and there are really useful tips in here, especially about them getting their identity online...

Stop asking your kids “How was your day?”
Because all you get is “Good”. Instead… start telling them how your day went. Expecting them to know how to storytell while you’ve never done it is foolish. I promise, they’ll pick up on it. Tested myself!

I like asking "What did you laugh at today? Tell me. I want a laugh too."

@Max Orlewicz I like it. 🥰
Model the behavior you want your teen son to display
You have far more influence on your teenager than you might imagine. He is watching your every move, so if you're being hypocritical, he is sure to notice. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "Your actions speak so loudly that I cannot hear what you are saying." I challenge you to comment with a GIF that fits better than this one 😜 Or with words, whatever floats your boat 🫶

After helping Ali build real confidence through weekly real-world social curiosity missions and helping Adam go from avoidant to socially proactive, I feel confident I can achieve this. How to help your teen son replace screens with confidence in 6 weeks
I helped Ali build real confidence through weekly real-world sessions and helped Adam go from avoidant and isolated to socially proactive through direct mentorship. Here's how you can do it too: Step 1: Stop fighting the screen and start diagnosing what's actually underneath it. Your son isn't lazy. He's avoiding something. Find out what, and you have the starting point. Step 2: Give him real-world missions that are small enough to feel safe but challenging enough to build genuine confidence. Each completed mission rewires how he sees himself. Step 3: Keep him accountable with daily check-ins and direct mentorship so momentum doesn't die after the first week. If you want help executing this, along with a customized missions plan, weekly group calls, daily check-ins, and 6 weeks of direct mentorship, I JUST launched The Lighthouse Method where I'll hold your hand and customize this entire process with you step by step. Click here to apply to join: https://calendly.com/max-orlewicz-posteo/lighthouse-method-application We close doors on May 20, and there are only 8 spots.
