Good morning, sisters! This morning's pour is from our foundational Scripture for tomorrow's prayer walk. It comes from Joshua 1:9 (ESV). "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Because of his obedience and faith, Joshua was commissioned by God to lead Israel into the Promised Land after Moses died. As a matter of fact, he and Caleb were the only 2 from their generation to see the Promised Land! This was a big job, and yes, God had already given the Promised Land to Israel, but there was still work to do. God makes promises to us, but we are called to obedience to secure those promises. God knew what Joshua was going to be up against, and because he is human, he would be fearful at times. In His sovereignty and love for His people, God knew how to encourage Joshua (and us). "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." - Nelson Mandela What step of faith is God calling you to take? Read the book of Joshua! I promise it will bless your life 🧡 I love y'all so much. Have a blessed day, Shavonne
