Good morning, sisters! This morning's pour is from our foundational Scripture for tomorrow's prayer walk. It comes from Joshua 1:9 (ESV). "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Because of his obedience and faith, Joshua was commissioned by God to lead Israel into the Promised Land after Moses died. As a matter of fact, he and Caleb were the only 2 from their generation to see the Promised Land! This was a big job, and yes, God had already given the Promised Land to Israel, but there was still work to do. God makes promises to us, but we are called to obedience to secure those promises. God knew what Joshua was going to be up against, and because he is human, he would be fearful at times. In His sovereignty and love for His people, God knew how to encourage Joshua (and us). Our Prayer Walk was a complete success! The sun wasn't out and there was a chill in the air. But that didn't dim the light God has on us. We prayed for the community and some of the fellow walkers. The Holy Spirit led us to a wonderful woman and her family who were in need of prayer. It felt like no coincidence that we shared a moment. It was also no coincidence that she was sitting there waiting for a sign. Lord, we pray our encounter was contagious. We pray the words prayed over her extend to her family and anyone else she encounters. Thank you Lord for our community. Thank you for the time we shared today with Tea Time Testimony Ministry. Thank you, Lord, for each moment we shared during our prayer walk, even the brief ones!We pray that every encounter is a chance for a seed to be planted and a soul to be saved, all in Jesus' name, Amen.
