Memorial Day/Honoring All Who Served
Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As an Army veteran, Memorial Day carries a weight that words can hardly explain. It is more than a long weekend or a celebration, but it is a day of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
There are families carrying empty seats at the table today. There are battle buddies remembered through stories, photos, and memories that never fade. We honor them not only with words but by living lives marked by gratitude, purpose, and love.
Scripture reminds us in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” While no earthly sacrifice compares to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we recognize the courage and selflessness of those who willingly served and gave everything for others.
Today, Tea Time Testimony remembers the fallen, prays for military families, and thanks every service member who has carried the weight of sacrifice and service.
May we never forget.
