A lot of early tattoo artists struggle because they focus only on motivation. Motivation comes and goes. What really changes your career is consistency and persistence. Consistency is building the habit of showing up - drawing regularly, posting your work, improving your process, learning from every tattoo. Persistence is continuing even when growth feels slow, confidence drops, or things aren’t going the way you hoped. A lot of artists quit too early because they expect fast results. The artists who build strong careers are usually the ones who simply keep going. Small actions repeated consistently over time can completely change your direction. Keep showing up. Keep improving. The momentum builds faster than you think!

We are all at different stages of our careers, from beginners to well established tattoo artists. I really want this community to be an open, supportive space for artists of all levels. Tattooing has not come easy that's for sure... I spent around 5 years working hard on my art, trying to find an apprenticeship while raising two young daughters 💏 Eventually I decided to teach myself EVERYTHING - from the ground up. The art, the tattooing, the marketing & overall business to get me to where I am today. Owning my dream studio & tattooing superstar clients! 10 years into Tattooing now, I can say that journey has been a dream in itself.
