Before I figured this out I thought eating
for my diabetes meant eating sad food.
Rice cakes and lettuce and misery.
Then I realized I could eat steak. Wings.
Burgers without the bun. Salads drowning
in ranch dressing.
The shift was not from abundance to punishment.
It was from the wrong foods to the right ones.
Six weeks of eating this way. A1C from 13
to a GMI of 6.1%. Zero insulin.
That is what real food did.
Now I want to hear from you.
What is one food you thought was healthy
that turned out to be spiking you?
Drop it below. You might save someone else
from the same mistake. π
