What do you reach to first after you wake up in the morning? Do you drink coffee right away to "wake up" or do you have water?
I used to have my coffee first no matter what!
I just recently saw a video of someone talking about the effects of coffee before water.
Did you know that while we sleep or bodies lose water? I never really thought about this before. So when we don't drink water first when we wake up we are drying up our bodies even more? The video says "drinking coffee first is basically turning your body into a raisin". This video(which I wish I saved, I'll share ifIcan find it) talks about waiting 60-90min after waking up before you have any coffee. That we need to drink water first to replenish our bodies and help our brains wake up naturally.
I've been doing this for a past week or so, and I honestly don't feel so "tired" like after waking up. Still hard to wake up. But, drinking water first and waiting has been Beneficial. On my work days, I drink my water while getting ready and drink my coffee on my way to work after being up for about 50 min.
What have you been drinking when you first wake up? And will you give this a try to see if it makes a difference in your morning routine?
