I made this for @Jen Toll because she likes sashiko and boro style. All of it is hand sewn. I used leftover fabric and hand dyed sashiko threads from Kanazawa. I can send it happily in an envelope. It’s a coaster 🙂

Because I'm not sending it out, I still wanted to give my April challenge away because I love to gift my projects and they'll just get smokey at my house anyway. I added one of our customers names who will be getting married next week on Starwars day (May the 4th). On the back I still plan to add the date.

I got further along on her face. I embroidered her lips last night but i think it still needs more work…
