Starting Off
Hey team,
Happy Friday - what a week it has been with the school holidays!
A quick read about starting - how have you found starting the program?
It is tricky to know the "best" time to start. What I have found is that the perfect time doesn't really exist.
Starting something new, particularly if it requires investment of time and energy, is hard. It is a change in your routine, and from a physiological and psychological perspective, your body and brain won't like it.
New areas of your body will be comfortable. New stresses may appear.
So what I like to focus on is the idea of "Messy Action".
Messy Action is exactly that, a bit messy. Again, not about it being pretty, just getting it done.
So the program may say, 60 minutes, but 15 is okay because it's a start. And a start is more than where you stopped yesterday.
Hope this helps and would love to hear how you are going with Starting Off
Have a Great Weekend!
