Newbie here!

Hi! I'm Angela. I live in a suburb west of Houston. I was born and raised in Texas but have lived all over the world (oil & gas). Me and my husband are looking to invest in our first STR. I would say we are in the preparing stage. Much like Matt, I've been 'learning and looking' for several years and now it's time.

Our goal is to close on our first STR in 90 days. This will allow me to obtain the required hours for material participation, a much need tax benefit as my husband is a high income W-2 earner.

This biggest thing that has held us (mostly me) back is fear of making the wrong decision and losing hard earned money. I am truly hoping this community will be just the thing to help me become more confident!
