I did something huge.
last week I stepped away from a business partnership, because our values were no longer aligned.
Being deeply trauma informed isn’t a nice extra in my work. It’s the foundation of everything I do. I’d been feeling the misalignment for months, and eventually I realised that staying was costing me more than leaving.
Walking away meant losing a big chunk of my monthly income. It also meant leaving a community I genuinely loved. That wasn’t an easy decision.
But since making it? So much has shifted.
New opportunities have appeared. New ideas have landed. I feel more creative, more energised and, most importantly, so much lighter.
Sometimes the thing we’re clinging is just delaying what’s waiting on the other side.
If you’ve been putting off making a decision because you’re scared of what you’ll lose…
This is your sign.
Trust yourself.
The peace waiting for you on the other side might be worth far more than what you’re holding onto. 🖤
