🚨 FIX MY SPANISH
Hay un error en esta frase. ¿Lo puedes encontrar? (There is a mistake in this sentence. Can you find it?) "Yo soy muy cansada hoy porque trabajé mucho ayer." Write the corrected sentence below 👇 Hint: Think about which verb describes a temporary state vs a permanent characteristic...
In Spanish, YOU are not the one who likes things. 👀
In English, we say: "I like Spanish." In Spanish, the sentence flips completely. ❌ What English brains want to say: Yo gusto español. ✅ What Spanish actually says: Me gusta el español. Literal translation: Spanish pleases me. The THING you like is the subject. YOU are the object. This changes everything with these verbs: → gustar — to like (pleases me) → encantar — to love (enchants me) → molestar — to bother (bothers me) → doler — to hurt (hurts me) → interesar — to interest (interests me) So: Me duele la cabeza = My head hurts me (literally: the head hurts me) And: Nos encanta viajar = We love travelling 💬 Try one below — talk about something you love or hate using this structure. 👇
