Could you please ask Jeshua why do Christians use His blood to cast things, why the blood of Jesus. What does it's really mean?

We know that blood is used for sacrifice and for things that are not necessary for good. So when we plead the blood of Jesus over our life and affairs is it really what we supposed to do. I do it but then I wonder. Thank you?
