I made the grain (long grain brown rice). I sterilized it in the pressure cooker. I added chunks of the culture to the sterilized grain. I tightened the lids all the way then slightly loosened them to allow for air flow. They are now sitting in the back of a closet for 10-14 days and I'm waiting to see the mycelium cover 2/3 of the jar (I'm using the 8 oz jars because that's what would fit in my pressure cooker).
