Just me playing around a bit the other day 🤪

My art box, “Shattered Glass/Active Hope” is included in the 5/7/26 opening at the Petaluma Art Center and runs thru May. It’s about estrangement and its effects on individuals that ripple through families and communities, sometimes for generations. The original print was made with a solar plate then copied and transferred to the box. The sides are open as though you can see inside another’s heart. The broken mirror represents seeing ourselves in other people’s stories while the open top and candle hold “Active Hope.” We all have our stories. What’s yours?
