Grateful to you all! Meaningful Traditions to Connect
Thank you for you all being part of this community. So proud to see us grow organically since our inception in July from 0 to now over 185 members today. 🥰
My family just played a game on a road trip to my Mom's for Family Feast Day (my new name for Thanksgiving after watching a video on what Thanksgiving signifies for the indigenous) approaches.
We asked each other one question that the other two had to answer.
I asked "What's the most meaningful milestone from this past year?"
My husband Leo asked "What's one thing you admire or are proud of that the other person did?
My 14 year old son Eli asked "What's one thing growing up you did that no longer exists today?"
Rather than all be plugged into our headsets and phones disconnected, we connected for way over an hour through this activity.
This will definitely will become a new family tradition.
This year, I plan on having the family do a volunteer service project to those in need.
Leo chose a family adventure in nature to go to Northwest Trek, a wildlife tour.
Comment below: What's a new (or existing) tradition that creates connection with loved ones over the holidays?
