Just answered the below question to someone within my DMs. Won't share the wider conversation for obvious privacy reasons.
But I often forget how refreshing it is to not only discuss strategy with like-minded individuals, but also to practise what I preach to others. And it's something I'm really excited about going into next year, discussing business growth!
The Q: "Interesting, I started two years ago. Didn’t know anything about this industry. What’s been your biggest challenge growing your business or has everything been a pretty straightforward path given your prior experience"
Any business owner that tells you it's been straightforward is lying! 🤣
Anything that feels right but is hard to do is typically my sign that it's the next step forward for the business. My major growth factors have been networking and actually doing one thing at a time within a niche, rather than going broad and trying to do too much too soon.
On a personal level, the main issue has always, and I think will always be, consistency. I'll have a couple of good days, mostly bad days, but as long as we're consistent, the business moves forward and continues to grow.
