Recently I ran into someone again on Skool that I knew on Facebook - the algorithm and life had gotten in the way and we lost contact. It was so cool to see that the podcast that we did in 2024 was still a long term visibility point for me now. This is yet another collab and partnership strategy example that comes from relationship building. Plus if you have a simple affiliate program created and can offer the podcast hosts an affiliate link and even a coupon code especially for their audience, you are way ahead of most people hooking up with podcast hosts. It is amazing that so much of what I talked about in this episode hasn’t changed and is transferrable to other platforms like Instagram. I am still using the same social selling strategy through genuine authentic engagement that I was in 2019. A huge tip for those of you taking the time to engage in the community and who want to grow their network and business... Make sure that you are adding your best social media i.e. Facebook and IG where you are most active so that people who love you and are aligned with the content you post can become a new follower. The other thing is to add your nurture tool i.e. your YouTube or the place where you have your long form nuture content (a free skool community, blog, Linked In Articles etc) so that people who are seeing you and aligning with you can learn about your genius zone, your story and your method. This may help you not only get new followers, but potentially get clients as well. Finally have a link in the bio to your first paid step so it might be your community here or a low ticket offer so that the people who love you know what is the first step to take. I see soooo many people using a long linktree or sending people to a website and that is a huge way to lose a large percentage of your curious people. There is a saying that a confused mind never buys so having 50 links on your linktree or leading people to a homepage and hoping they find something and hoping they buy is wasted traffic.
