What Happens After Your Recruitment Ads Start Working?
Everyone talks about strong social media recruitment campaigns. But what happens after the ads start working? Over the past few years, I’ve worked with dozens of recruiters. Smart concepts.Highly optimized Meta Ads. But the moment candidates start coming in… 📉 No clear overview 📉 No automatic follow-up 📉 No link between campaigns and the backend And that’s where things go wrong. Many recruiters are still using ATS systems that simply aren’t designed for social media recruitment. They’re built for job boards and career sites. Not for a reality where applications come through Instagram or TikTok. Not for candidates who would rather message on WhatsApp than send an email. As a result, gaps appear — real gaps — in the funnel. Strong candidates drop off before anyone even says,“Thanks for applying.” And that’s a missed opportunity. 👉 A question for the recruiters in my network: Are you truly happy with your ATS or backend setup? Does it support the way you recruit today? Or are you still relying on workarounds and spreadsheets just to stay in control? How satisfied are you with your ATS (or backend system) when it comes to social media recruitment?

Tried something new for candidate outreach — surprisingly worked well
Not sure if anyone else has been struggling with getting qualified candidates lately,but for me the last few weeks were rough. I was spending hours every day messaging people on LinkedIn, sending follow-ups, checking resumes, and still ending up with a lot of unqualified leads. Felt like 80% of my time was just admin work. So I decided to experiment with a more automated approach, just to see what happens. What I Did I built a simple setup that: - Sends personalized messages to candidates automatically - Follows up if they don’t reply - Checks if they match basic criteria (experience, location, etc.) - And if they’re a fit, it just sends them a Calendly link to book a quick call All I do now is upload a list of candidates once a day and check my inbox for booked calls. The Result I went from messaging around 100 people manually → to 500+ messages/day running automatically.And the best part — I’m now only speaking with people who are actually a match. It freed up a few hours every day and I’ve already made a couple of placements from it. Just Curious Is anyone else here experimenting with some form of automation or smarter follow-up system?Would love to hear what’s working for you guys too. Hello, I tried to import the case study and onboarding funnel templates in perspective and they don't work for some reason. I can import the other template ok. Thoughts?
