Musicality from scratch
Hi everyone. I’ve been “dancing salsa” for a few years now unfortunately I’ve really struggled to get a “grip” on the music including the timing. Needless to say I’m often off beat and very aware of it and so now avoid dancing.
I’ve asked numerous instructors and people in the know for a methodology/ structure to understand and eventually integrate the musicality into my dance and have always been met with redundancies like “you've got to feel it” which is of no help at all.
In my area people primarily dance ON1. Would understanding ON2 through this course be an inroad to learning ON1 as well. I’m quite willing to invest time and energy into this course regardless. Please advise. Thanks.
