I've been burning the midnight oil working on an app that we are testing with beta users right now.
We created V1, and not surprisingly, it did not solve the problem we set out for it to solve.
But we learned a ton from having people use it, changed the plan, and within just a few weeks got V2 ready to test with users again.
If we had used a dev shop, that would mean thousands of dollars spent to create a product no one wants.
But because I'm doing the development, and I have skin in the game, I'm building it faster and better.
Building it yourself is a lot of work, but it feels good to have complete control over the quality of your product.
