Is a Grom a good bike to practice basics on or should I stick to something with more cc?

I was wondering if there is Some kind of rule on how the levers (brake and clutch) need to be positioned ? Or should I just leave it as the bike was delivered ?

Any "Detecht" users here? I love that little rider app. I love that it will alert your friends/family (of your choosing) if you get into an accident. The only downside is when it THINKS you crashed and you only have 30 seconds to cancel before it sends out the alert. However, I much rather it send out a false SOS than not activate for a real one.
