@Elad Best Yup, welcome to the "6s"...😉
MSF today and tomorrow
Update: we passed! Thank you @Daniel Tolomei for the drills and instruction. They helped A LOT! The instructor is wearing the gray button up. So far so good. We are doing it on Groms, they are kinda beat up from all the students that have used them but good enough. Husband loves them and I think they are a lot of fun. We have a great instructor and a class of 5 (the sixth didn’t show up) so we finished the day early. My only issue has been getting used to the clutch/throttle combo in the “turning from a stop” drill. I freaking stalled like 5 times in 6 turns around it, ugh. I KNOW I need more throttle to get going but dang it it was a pain in the butt and frustrating. I’m glad I was allowed to stop the paddle walk because it was messing me up, an extra thing I could not get past. I did make a lil mistake: went to the class without enough calories on board. Even drinking coke and water and eating snacks were not enough. Tank was empty by the time the last drill was done. I recommend a good breakfast before the class so that this doesn’t happen to you. No video or photos were taken, I don’t want the distraction. I may set up the camera on a tripod tomorrow but that is still a distraction so maybe not. Well I will let y’all know how tomorrow goes. 🙂

@Elad Best It's both the practicing, and the mindset. If your ultimate goal is on safety (which is the majority of us), and you focus on safety, rather than hooliganing, you greatly increase your odds of returning safely home.

@Elad Best Exactly. Motorcycling is an extremely dangerous (but fun) activity. Anything we can do to increase the odds in our favor is extremely worthwhile.

@Arlene Baratta I've had some friends use them for memorial patches I think?

40yo new rider from luxembourg. Upgraded from 125cc to 400cc and crashed the bike and my knee within a month. Back on the 125cc and calmly accepting this is maybe good enough for now

@Diana Ramirez I love black for motorcycles and cars, but they have to be absolutely perfect bodywise. Black shows every imperfection.

@Diana Ramirez I'm 68, and started riding when I was 17.
Just a wholesome observation about greeting gesture
I usually greet (two fingers down in general, but it's not a religion). and i seem to notice patterns sometimes. Like vespa riders and electric bikes, i'm not always sure if they know what i mean because i bet most riders don't greet them. Yesterday i put my fingers out, and this delivery guy was just puzzled. He was wearing a full face helmet. But his eyes, and shoulders and head movement said everything. I could literally see a speech bubble saying "Why does everybody keep pointing at the road in front of me?"

I'll wave to anyone who waves first, but I won't usually initiate the wave.
