Silly mistake
Raise your hand if you used front brake when stopping without your motorcycle bar straight... Ps. The Braids "era" is over ๐Ÿ˜…
Silly mistake
Even the best fails sometimes ๐Ÿ˜…
So I went to a great evening with one of my most favorite bands of all times (which their lead guitarist, which is also my biggest idol since i was a teen,is also a very good friend of mine, but thatโ€™s a story for other time ๐Ÿ˜) and had an excellent time with them. Now at this point you may wonder - how is it even remotely related to motorcycles, and especially to fails (as the header says). So - once Iโ€™ve packed myself, I went to my motorcycle which was parked right near the entrance, geared up, hoped on, put it in gear, andโ€ฆ. Front wheel jammed, making me lose balance and slowly dropping the motorcycle on its side ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ In hindsight - I forgot Iโ€™ve added the disc lock on the right side (which was closer to the wall Iโ€™ve parked near) and it did what it supposed to do - lock the front brakeโ€ฆ Fortunately I have crash bars so no damage at all to anything, and I was still on 0 kph, but my inflating jacket did went off, so goodbye 64$ for new gas cartridge for it ๐Ÿฅด Note to self: always put the disc lock on the more visible side to the eyesโ€ฆ
Close calls when riding.
Here's 3 close calls I caught with my bike camera system: https://youtu.be/3-fcCIJCYcs?si=Cv0omKs24D86PCJG https://youtu.be/_YP9haFwViY?si=OaxQKKeciMHmx0pi https://youtu.be/45o7GNOpYgA?si=INQX5D1avJ9yuFgV
Riding while sick
Here's something I kinda learned the hard way yesterday don't ride while sick even if you are feeling a little better than the day before and especially if the sickness leaves you with a foggy brain I went out for a ride yesterday got to my destination no problem on the way back how ever is when things got weird on my way back I took a road that I have taken every day to and from work for almost a year straight now and when entering a corner I went to lean in and my mind went blank mid corner I didn't lose consciousness didn't target fixate my body didn't want to move the way I was telling it to best way I can describe it is like when you try to move in a dream and can't I ended up going a little too wide by the time I "came to" it was too late and I hit the curb scraped the shit out of my fairings but kept it up the weirdest thing I have ever have happen to me now I know not to ride if I'm feeling sick
Crew Review - Andy Close Call
Gravel in the corner can be scary! Good job @Andy Torrez for not freaking out! Btw, couldnt find the original post. Idk if Skool did something or I just can't find it.
