I Designed a cover artwork for my first big artist
I wanted to share something important with you—I recently had the opportunity to design cover artwork for a well-known artist. This experience means a lot to me because it’s my first time creating artwork for someone outside of myself. Up until now, I’ve only designed for my own projects, so being trusted with someone else’s vision is a big step forward in my growth as an artist. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to keep improving my skills .

The Truth About Being an Artist and a Content Creator
(Artist + Creator) 1️⃣ “Consistency Beats Talent” “Talent opens the door. Consistency keeps you in the room.” Here's Some Game: Post something every day (even low effort) Music clip, reaction, opinion, freestyle, snippet If you miss a day → double post the next day 📌 Tip: Algorithms reward activity, not perfection. 2️⃣ Build a Face, Not Just a Song Most artists fail because nobody knows them. Teach your community: People follow faces, not files Show: Reactions Opinions Losses + wins Behind-the-scenes Let them see you before the music 🎥 Example content ideas: “Why this song flopped” “Almost quit today” “I’m 1,000 streams away from a goal” 3️⃣ Turn Everything Into Content This is BIG game. Tell them: “If it happens in your life, it’s content.” Examples: Studio session → clip it Low views → talk about it Someone doubted you → storytime Hit a milestone → celebrate publicly 📌 Content ≠ flexing only 📌 Content = documenting 4️⃣ Chase Attention First, Respect Second This one gonna hit. Tell them straight: “Attention comes before respect. Respect comes later.” Game: Use: Bold thumbnails Strong titles Controversial opinions (not dumb, just honest) If nobody clicks → nobody hears your message ⚠️ Don’t be scared to stand out ⚠️ Playing safe keeps you invisible 5️⃣ Engage Like a Fan, Not a Celebrity Your size = advantage, not weakness. Teach them: Reply to comments Pin comments Shout people out Turn fans into characters 💬 Say things like: “Comment if you want feedback” “Drop 🔥 if you watching from day one” People support who acknowledge them. 6️⃣ Numbers Don’t Lie, Feelings Do A lot of artists quit because emotions lie. Give them this rule: Low views ≠ bad content High views = study WHY Ignore opinions, study data 📊 Look at: Watch time Saves Shares Comments Repeat what works. Kill what doesn’t. 7️⃣ Make the Journey the Brand This is YOUR lane fr. Tell them: “People love the climb more than the crown.” Document: Being close to milestones Being counted out Learning as you go

don’t take success or failure personal
If you’re anything like me, you love to win and you hate to lose. But when you start tying your self-worth to the outcome, that’s when things go sideways. I came across this while researching a book I’m planning to buy soon, and it really stuck with me. It’s a quote about not attaching your worth to the results of your work: "I’m a professional. I don’t take success or failure personally, I view my work objectively rather than as an extension of my self-worth. I treat failures as learning opportunities and successes as fleeting moments, allowing them to remain detached, resilient, and consistently productive without emotional highs or lows. "
