Meanwhile... nothing has actually moved. At first, it feels like you're being thoughtful. But sometimes what's happening isn't thoughtful planning. It's your brain searching for certainty. When we're about to do something that feels uncertain—launch an offer, raise our prices, have a difficult conversation, or become more visible—our brain starts looking for ways to reduce the discomfort. So it says things like: "Maybe I need more research." "I should think about it a little longer." "Maybe there's a better way to do this." "I'll know when I'm ready." The challenge is... There comes a point where you're no longer gathering information. You're avoiding making the decision. Not because you're lazy. Not because you lack discipline.
