So I don't make NY resolutions as they are too easy to break, then get annoyed and frustrated!
I do set goals. I did some for the girlies each year; on what I wanted from their agility training and competitons. I would write them in a book; but look the following year and tick off if necessary rather than the feeling of pressure to do.
This year :
Dottie. To just keep on top of her fitness and condition. Maintain her happiness and including her within her limitations now she has retired competitively. To enjoy everyday with her for just being.
Reeva. Decide whether agility is actually her bag. Maintain her weight and fitness that we have managed to achieve the last few months. As she has dropped her weight and muscled up; she is more dynamic in everyday life. Will this make agility a nicer experience if we avoid the triggering shows for her?
Kailo. Gosh will need a book lol! To keep trying to gain his own resiliance with life, support and advocate him towards other owners to gain his trust and understanding.
Compete him in a ring at least once by season end.
Keep working on his skills and confidence around the seesaw.
Lead work ...... nuff said!
To have him working by my side off lead in gundog group.
For myself; to get the dust off my camera and get back taking photos. To ditch the people who are toxic to my life. To try and keep active and busy and drop a few pounds. Keep promising to do couch to 5k every year; start it but get shin splints; so ditch that and find something else. To appreciate at least one thing a day.
