How Vocals Can Transform a Track ๐ŸŽต
Iโ€™ve been thinking a lot about how tracks evolve from a rough idea into a full song. One thing Iโ€™ve noticed is that layering vocals, even just a simple topline or demo, can completely shift how a track feels. Vocals arenโ€™t just an โ€œadd-on.โ€ They can: - Highlight the emotion behind a chord progression - Reveal parts of the arrangement that might need adjusting - Give energy and focus to a section that feels flat - Inspire new melodies or changes you wouldnโ€™t have thought of otherwise Sometimes, just hearing a vocal idea over a track helps everyone involved understand its full potential, even before a song is fully produced. Iโ€™m curious: for those of you creating music, do you usually hear a vocal idea in your head while working on a track, or do you prefer leaving it open and letting it evolve naturally?

WHAT UP FELLOW AIR WIGGLERS
Aye whats yalls favorite way to wiggle the air? I been going hard on the drone flute recently but typically i just like rapping and distorted 808โ€™s. Hopefully i find some fellow ppl into alternative trap in here and hyperpop/glitchcore stuff Im thinking ab starting a SoundCloud hub skool, anyone interested? Ngl I can imagine a bunch of different niche music communities to start here on school. But i donโ€™t think it would be smart to spread myself to thin. Alternative trap, hyperpop/glitchcore, emo rap, and underground rap communities would all be awesome to see tho. I would need help! Outside of that hereโ€™s my stuff. I would love to exchange some sounds w yall https://on.soundcloud.com/DexXVOV4gYWMLfm5rt
