Weekly IAM Catch-Up is happening in 5 days
Week 3 of the Live Cohort is done 🏗️
This weekend we tackled the Mover process and Role-Based Access Management. When someone changes department in a real company, IAM needs to automatically adjust their access. Remove what no longer applies. Add what they now need. No manual tickets, no delays, no security gaps. We built that live. Two weekends left. CIAM up next. The free labs in the Classroom tab are a great starting point for these concepts. If you want structure, expert guidance, and to go deep in a short time - the cohort is built for that.
Weekly IAM Catch-Up: today at 7pm CEST / 1pm EST 👋
Going live in 3 hours. Bring your lab questions, career questions, or anything IAM on your mind. Check the Calendar tab for the join link. See you there.

The SimplifyIAM community is now public 🌐
Big news: anyone can now browse the community feed, classrooms, and about page without joining. To post, comment, and access the free labs - one still needs to join. Joining is free and takes 30 seconds. The public view is read-only, which helps us reach a wider audience who might be looking for exactly what we have built here. This means every concept post, lab win, and discussion happening here is now visible to the wider IAM community for those, who are looking for help in IAM. The work you are putting into the labs and contributing to discussions is reaching people who have not even found us yet. If you think making the community public is not a good idea or have any concerns - let me know in the comments. Happy to hear your thoughts before this becomes permanent. Share the link with anyone in IT who is curious about IAM 👇 https://www.skool.com/simplify-iam-6792

Missed the weekly catch-up: here is what I did instead 😄
Missed the weekly call last Sunday, due to a personal appointment - my bad. 😄 As self-imposed penalty, I spent the time delivering something useful for the community instead. Two new lessons are now live in the Classroom tab: - IAM Concepts classroom - a detailed write-up on Non-Human Identities. What they are, why they are a bigger risk than most teams realise, real breach examples, and why NHI is showing up in more IAM job descriptions every month. - A new hands-on exercise that goes with the NHI lesson in Full IGA lab, lesson 7. You will create a service account directly in LDAP, bypassing IGA entirely, then run a reconciliation to see how the IGA system discovers an identity it never provisioned. Now let's see who finishes the lab exercise first and posts their results. 🏆 Tag your post with #NHIExercise when you are done. 👇
