Summer: Where Calendars Go to Die
Summer is a few weeks away, and I want to name something before it hits, because it throws more of you off than you'd expect. Fall, winter, spring — you had structure. School schedules, routines, the rhythm of the week. Then summer arrives and the scaffolding disappears. Kids are home, travel scatters the week, the routine you leaned on is just… gone. And a lot of people quietly panic — they want to look and feel their best, but they're suddenly trying to hold it all together without the framework that was doing half the work for them. If that's you, you're not undisciplined. You lost your structure, and structure was doing more than you realized. So this is the week to build the summer version before you need it — not the rigid one, the flexible one. What's the one anchor that travels with you no matter where the day goes? It's Sunday, and this feels like the right day to start something — quieter, a little reflective, the day before everything begins again. You may have noticed a new name and over the next few weeks you will see a lot of new faces and content. So let me tell you what this place is. She's Not Done is for the woman who's done being dismissed. Who's been told her labs are "fine" while she feels anything but. Who's done everything "right" and watched it stop working somewhere after 40, and been handed willpower as the answer when the real issue was never willpower at all. If that's you — you're home. This isn't a place I'm going to post at you and disappear. I'm going to show up here every day. Some days it'll be a hard truth about metabolism or hormones or muscle. Some days it'll be a reframe that changes how you see your own body. Some days it'll just be me asking how you're doing and meaning it. The point isn't a feed of content. It's a room full of women who refuse to accept "that's just your age" — and a practitioner in that room with them.
