Say it like it really is
A lot of us don’t struggle because we don’t know better. We struggle because we don’t tell ourselves the truth in the moment. We soften it. We justify it. We say things like: “It’s not that big of a deal” “I’ll deal with it later” “Just this once” But you already know where that leads. Growth starts when you get honest—not later, but right in the moment. Instead of: “I’ll be fine…” Try: “If I go down this path, I already know how this ends.” Instead of: “I don’t care…” Try: “I do care—I’m just uncomfortable right now.” That’s the shift. You don’t need a perfect plan. You need real honesty with yourself. ENGAGEMENT QUESTION Where in your life are you avoiding the truth—and what does it actually look like when you say it honestly?
