I used to think I had creative blocks. Turns out, I was just carrying a backpack full of "small" traumas I kept telling myself didn't matter. Every time I'd sit down to create, my nervous system was busy managing all the stuff I'd dismissed as "not a big deal." The moment I stopped minimizing my own story and actually dealt with it? My creativity came flooding back. Apparently you can't create freely when you're running on survival mode.
Make sure you take the time to process what you need!
