From just the root position alone, you already have 24 unique melodic permutations. Now expand that thinking across two octaves and all inversions… You’re looking at 672 unique melodic possibilities. Now take it further… Add extensions. Now we’re talking about 5,040 possible 13th chord permutations. 🎯 Here’s the shift: Major Scale = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 So: - 2 = 9 - 4 = 11 - 6 = 13 Which means… 👉 A 13th chord is the Major Scale fully expressed.
