Standard bulking is designed for already-lean/low body-fat guys who need mass at any cost. For skinny-fat guys it just adds more fat to a soft frame. Aggressive cutting without the right training burns muscle alongside fat, you end up lighter but still soft.
The answer is "body recomposition". Building muscle and burning fat simultaneously by eating and training specifically for how the skinny-fat body responds. That's the foundation of everything in this community.
