MORE THAN ENOUGH
A Christian Old School Hip-Hop song written by Pastor Calvin "TAZ the Drummer" Hall. I took a 1990's era rap, stripped out all the vocals, and wrote my own FAITH-based lyrics for it. I have not yet recorded the song but I did create a backing track and the lyrics are in MS WORD format. As soon as I get it recorded, I will post a link to it! “More Than Enough” by Taz the Drummer [Intro – 4 Bars] (Bars 1: instrumental groove) (Bars 2–4: light ad-libs) (spoken/ad-lib): Yeah…Faith on fire… We bringin’ that praise with a groove now… Let’s go… [Verse 1] Woke up this morning, breath in my chest Didn’t earn this grace but I’m already blessed Steps in my path, yeah He ordered those Even through the valley, I ain’t walkin’ alone Light in the dark when I couldn’t see Pulled me out, now I’m finally free Chains fell off when You called my name And I’ll never, ever be the same You gave me purpose, you gave me life You turned my wrongs into something right You took my pain and You flipped that script Now I walk by faith, and I don’t slip Every step got a reason now Every praise got a freedom sound From the dust, yeah You raised me up Now I live ‘cause You are more than enough [Chorus] “More than enough… You’re enough for me…” “More than enough… You’re enough for me…” “More than enough… You’re enough for me…” Now I live ‘cause You SET ME FREE! [Verse 2] I was lost but You found me And Your love came around me Now my soul got a rhythm And now nobody’s gonna take it from me When I fall, You restore me Every chapter is Your story Now I move to the rhythm Of a living testimony Grace so deep, couldn’t measure that Mercy new every day, and I treasure that No matter what comes, I’m standin’ strong I’ve got a new life now, and my anthem song From the struggle to the praise break Every trial just a pathway To Your glory, yeah I testify ou stayed with me the whole time You were right there holdin’ me Now I walk in Your victory ‘cause . . . . [Chorus] “More than enough… You’re enough for me…”

Happy Music Monday
Me and a friend of mine met on LinkedIn about a year ago and have become great friends. Every Monday we share a song that has been playing in are head or just a song we like. We're both Christian's but have a different taste in music. I love Christian Music and will always be a country music fan. What song is on your mind? What do you want to share with us? https://youtu.be/LH_jEjUg-GQ?si=kHznLbw-fpBlFCNz

Man In the Middle by Russell A. Taylor
https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=VW4ZXbODFBU&si=j4bXQM2URqXUEIe6 Verse 1 Three crosses on a hard dirt hill, wind cuttin’ like a blade We were thieves and we were finished, gettin’ back what we got paid One cussed at God and iron, spit and laughed through broken teeth I just hung there watchin’ daylight leakin’ out of me Verse 2 I’d run wild down back roads, lied when truth would do Stole what wasn’t mine to take, hurt folks I never knew Now my hands were pinned wide open, couldn’t hide what I’d become And that’s when I looked over at the Man in the middle one Chorus The Man in the middle said I could come home Ain’t had nothin’ but a whisper and a heart of stone No time to make it right, no good left to show Just a beat-up prayer, “Don’t leave me here alone” He said, “Today.” Not “someday.” Not “when you get control.” The Man in the middle said I could come home Verse 3 The other one kept hollerin’, “If you’re God, then prove it now Get us down and save us, show these people anyhow” But the Man in the middle stayed quiet, took it all on the chin Like He’d come to carry more than nails and skin Verse 4 I said, “We earned what’s comin’, you and me, we know it’s true But He ain’t done a thing wrong, He don’t deserve this too” Then I swallowed all my pride, and with my last bit of breath I said, “Remember me, Lord, when You step past death” Chorus The Man in the middle said I could come home Ain’t had nothin’ but a whisper and a heart of stone No time to make it right, no good left to show Just a beat-up prayer, “Don’t leave me here alone” He said, “Today.” Not “someday.” Not “when you get control.” The Man in the middle said I could come home Bridge No altar, no water, no money, no name Just a busted man starin’ straight at grace And He met me right there where the shame lives at Turned my last wrong turn into a welcome back Final Chorus The Man in the middle said I could come home Right in the dirt, right in the hurt, right down to the bone
