Hebrews 11: 1 - A statement of FAITH!
SERVANTS BUILDING FAITH Hebrews 11:1-3, 6 KJV 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Substance/Assurance: Faith provides "substance" or "assurance" (KJV/NIV), meaning it makes future promises feel like present realities. - Evidence/Conviction: Faith serves as the "evidence" or "conviction" of truths that are not visible to the physical eye. - Not Blind: These are the key versres that define the mission of this ministry!
I know this is off topic but it is very important.
Whether you are a child, teen or an adult, there is a very serious possibility that at some point in time; someone may attempt to follow you with intent of doing harm! I'm not trying to scare you, I'm trying to EDUCATE you on how you and /or your loved ones can remain safe! DADS! IT IS VERY MUCH YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOUR WIVES AND CHILDREN KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT THERE TO PROTECT THEM! TEACH THIS RELIGIOUSLY! First off, this isn’t hypothetical for me. I am a retired NYPD Motorcycle Patrol Sergeant and I learned early on that while I was out there trying to protect you and your family, I couldn't always be there to protect my family either. The reality of that hit home for me hard! Several years ago, my wife was out shopping with our kids and noticed a man following them. My wife’s first instinct? RUN! This would have been a very bad choice because while she may have been able to evade the person following them, the kids WOULD NOT! Instead, she walked into the nearest store and asked the staff to call store security very loudly. He was gone in seconds. That experience sent me down a rabbit hole. I started going through everything I could find from personal safety and criminology specialists and what I learned completely changed what I taught my family. Because running? That’s the one thing most experts agree you should NOT do. The second you take off, you show fear. And fear is exactly what pushes someone with bad intent to move faster, not back off. Here’s what I taught mine instead: 👉 Confirm it first. Shift direction slightly and keep your normal pace. An innocent person won’t follow. Someone with intent will. Three turns in a row tells you everything. 👉 Walk toward people and cameras. Step into any store. Get close to the register. Being visible in a monitored space is often enough to make someone disappear. 👉DO NOT GO HOME! If you lead them to where you live, you’ve given them something they didn’t have before. Go public instead. 👉 Say your location out loud. Take out your phone and say clearly where you are even with no one on the line. People who follow others tend to back off the moment someone’s whereabouts are spoken.

Just a thought...
A person is not spiritually mature just because they know Scripture! (SO DOES THE ENEMY!) Knowing Scripture without obedience changes NOTHING! REAL maturity show up in how you live when no one is watching! God isn't looking for the one who is just an "informed believer," He is looking for the "TRANSFORMED" believer!
May 12: I Will Send the Counselor to You
John 16:5-11 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you." (v.7) Why does God seem far from us at times? Separation and loss of relationship often lead to grief and pain. The apostles were filled with sorrow when Jesus spoke about his imminent departure. Jesus explained that it was for their sake that he must leave them and return to his Father. He promised, however, that they would never be left alone. He will send in his place the best of friends, the Holy Spirit. Paul reminds us that "nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:39). By sending the Holy Spirit to his followers, the Lord Jesus makes his presence known to us in a new and on-going way. We are not left as orphans, but the Lord himself dwells within us through the power of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 4:9; 6:16b). The work of the Holy Spirit Jesus tells his disciples three very important things about the work of the Holy Spirit - to convince the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. The original word for convince also means convict. The Holy Spirit is our Sanctifier. He makes us holy as God is holy. He does this first by convicting us of our unbelief and sin and by bringing us humbly to the foot of the Cross. The Spirit convinces us of God's love and forgiveness and of our utter dependence on God for his mercy and grace. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to lead us from the error of our unbelief and sinful ways and to show us the way of love and truth. The Jews who had condemned Jesus as a blasphemer and false messiah thought they were serving God rather than sinning when they crucified Jesus. When the Gospel was later preached on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:37), many were pricked in their heart and convicted of their sin. What made them change their mind about Jesus? The Holy Spirit opened their hearts to recognize Jesus as the true Messiah sent by the Father in heaven.
