How has God moved in your life? What has He seen you through or changed in your life? Here is an opportunity for you to be a Witness of God's Love and Grace in your life, all while sitting behind your screen! I am a retired Motorcycle Patrol Sergeant with a major city's Police Department. On Sept. 18, 2009, I was Off-Duty and riding my personal Harley to the bank to make a deposit. I NEVER made it. As I entered northbound into a 4-way intersection on a main thoroughfare, a school bus traveling southbound turned left and my life as I knew it was drastically changed forever. The bus front bumper hit my bike solidly in the rear wheel, despite my attempt to evade it, creating a catapult-effect which threw me almost 20 feet. While the damage to my motorcycle was minimal, the injuries I sustained were not! My right leg broke in three places upon impact, and my right patella was torn away. I had opposing breaks in my left forearm and wrist, seven broken ribs, and if that was not bad enough, my head hit the ground so violently that my helmet shattered like an eggshell. This resulted in a severe BRAIN BLEED that should have been life-ending. I truly believe an ANGEL wrapped me in its arms as I was forcibly removed from my bike. I say this because I never lost consciousness and was fully aware of ( I could hear and FEEL ) EVERY BONE THAT BROKE in my body. But here's the reason I KNOW I had an angel with me. . . I NEVER FELT ANY PAIN until AFTER I stopped rolling on the ground and I could feel the presence that encompassed me, depart! I had been a Christian for over 15 years prior to this event and had even served as a Pastor. But it wasn't until I was laying there on the ground, unsure whether I would last long enough for the ambulance to get to me, that I, for the first time in my life really knew that God not only existed, but that He loved me and that He had a plan for my life. As I laid there on the ground, waiting to die, I finally fully gave myself over to Christ. And He told me in my spirit that "It was NOT my time yet! That there was a work left for me to do!
