It never rains but it pours
I found two copies of Southern Rhodesia 1940 3d Black and Blue Rhodes Centenary with the "smoke signal" flaw today. One is used, the other MH. CV is £140 for used, £130 for MUH. I paid A$5 plus postage. They were both listed today, and this seller has a history of not spotting flaws. Both items were in multiple carts, but acting fast pays!

Repeat Buyer status
This is a lovely little feature on eBay that can help build ongoing relationships. In your orders list, "repeat buyer" will appear under the customer's name if they've bought from you more than once. Click on the buyer's name and one of the options is to send a coupon, which I do when a customer reaches a certain dollar value in multiple purchases. They get a freebie, you recognise their custom and they keep buying.

Utilising "refined" AI input
My eBay description was: Mauritius 1943 5 cent SG 255b (Perf 15 x 14) Mint Hinged After asking AI to analyse my last 40 feedback comments to extract key points and defining many other parameters, AI came back with this: Mauritius 1943 – 5c – SG 255b – Perf 15 × 14 – Mint Hinged Country: Mauritius Issue: King George VI Definitive Year: 1943 Denomination: 5 cent Catalogue: Stanley Gibbons SG 255b Perforation: 15 × 14 Condition: Mint Hinged Condition & Quality Unused stamp in excellent condition, accurately described and conservatively graded. Fresh appearance with clean perforations and original gum showing hinge trace, as expected for this issue. Philatelic Note The SG 255b perforation (15 × 14) represents a recognised variety within the King George VI Mauritius definitives and is collected separately from the more common perforation types. Careful measurement is essential for correct identification, and this example conforms to standard catalogue definitions. Why collectors choose this example - Stamp exactly as described - Honest grading — no surprises - Clear, high-resolution scan of the actual item - Safely packed for international delivery Postage & Service Items are securely packaged to philatelic standards and dispatched promptly. International buyers welcome — delivery times may vary, but dispatch is always fast. 💬 I specialise in accurately described philatelic material and aim to provide a professional, reliable service valued by repeat collectors. Why AI thinks this is better: Why this listing will convert better - Uses buyer-validated phrases (“as described”, “excellent condition”, “safely packed”) - Education is present but does not introduce doubt - Reinforces trust before the buyer reaches price comparison - Positions you as a specialist, not a general seller https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/155679041665
