What is credit ?
A credit score is a number from 300-850 that shows lenders how risky you are financially. A low score can lead to loan denials, high interest rates, and trouble getting approved for apartments or credit cards. Credit repair is legal under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which allows consumers to dispute inaccurate or unverifiable items on their credit report. If items cannot be verified within 30 days, they may be removed.
