Consistency / “Starting Over”
Ever feel like you keep starting over with your health?
Most people don’t struggle because they don’t know what to do — they struggle because the plan doesn’t fit real life.
Try this: instead of restarting another diet, create your own simple Food Rule and stick to it for 2–3 weeks.
For example, one of the Food Practices in my program is: Eat Real Food!
Which means, food that comes from the earth. As little processed crap as possible! Try it Monday–Friday for a few weeks (yes, you’ve got some flexibility on the weekend 😉).
Hint: also think about simple foods and meals you can prep, pack, or grab on your busiest days — this helps you avoid the common pitfall of not eating well when something unexpected comes up, like a business trip, or a packed day of meetings.
Most of the time, we spend so much energy overthinking what we shouldn’t eat, when simply eating real food consistently can go a long way.
There was a time when I lived off energy bars — until my body started pushing back and I felt awful. When I reintroduced real food into my daily routine, my stomach issues disappeared and my energy improved.
Just a reminder: look at what YOU are doing, not what anyone else is doing — and take one small action that supports your body.
Consistency is built from realistic actions, not perfect ones.
What’s some real food you will work into your busy week and something you can repeat for the week? 🤍
