Courses in Progress
Just letting you know that you might see a couple of courses listed in the classroom for SSI and SSDI recipients. Just letting you know that these are not completed yet and I will post here once they are completed in their entirety and ready for you to view.
Veterans Benefits versus SSDI or SSI
As a certified benefits planner we don’t get much training around VA benefits and I’ve been getting a lot of questions about this recently. So far from what I’ve researched you can receive both VA benefits as well as SSDI or SSI. It appears that SSI can be impacted by the amount of VA benefits received but not SSDI. The VA benefits do not appear to be impacted by the SSI or SSDI amounts. Introducing Myself
I’m a 100% P&T (permanent & total) disabled veteran that was recently put on SSDI. I’ve done a lot of veteran advocacy work over the years and SSDI is new to me. I applied and was approved in eight weeks. Record setting speed! I’d like to learn as much as I can to help myself and other veterans.
